[Build] RF + Flame Surge + Doon Cuebiyari Marauder

Until this character, I had tried Atziri... Twice? Both attempts never made it past the double Vaal boss. On this character's first and only Atziri attempt so far, I died twice to the double Vaal boss due to mistakes I immediately realized I had made after my death, then died enough to fail the run in the next fight (though I got two of the three bosses killed by the end). I also didn't have an immortal call setup switched in, which likely would have made my life somewhat easier (and longer).

That said, I think the fight is almost certainly doable with this character. Like I said, I know what I did wrong in the first fight and would hopefully not do it again. I also had literally zero experience with the second fight, and ultimately got impatient trying to separate the bosses (something I have been told is important) and went for two of them at once.

I don't even watch others' videos except once in a blue moon, so I was REALLY going into that one blind. Someone experienced with the fights would likely have no problem. I would suggest swapping Three Dragons for Alpha's Howl and bringing an Immortal Call if you have trouble with the build as-is.

As for MF, I assume that gem levels and quality would improve the damage output of this build significantly enough that you could throw some MF into it and still do a respectable amount of damage. I'm not entirely sure though, as I don't really make characters specifically for MF (probably why I'm poor, but oh well).

I'm currently doing a take on this build in Rampage. I'm still not actually using RF (only started yesterday) but my take on the goal of going for Atziri is as follows:

By using Alpha's Howl for the Vaal Oversoul boss combined with my passive tree I can fit all three Purity auras combined with Vitality to limit the elemental damage taken (with the aura buff nodes and such this will be a total of +6% to all max resistances if they are at least level 18).

By forsaking some points in the tree and Merci Oak for Endurance Charges we can run a Spell Echo + Enduring Cry setup to get ourself up to 7 (we could get up to 8 with corruption on Doryani belt) and using a self-casting Increased Duration + Immortal Call for time to get close and deal damage to hard hitting physical Trio.

Combining the two setups should make Atziri quite easy to kill as well, if you are ready to jump out of her overlapping spells and keep charges up for mitigating spears.

The passive tree at 101 picks up 1% less life-regen, a little less life and skips grace (and maybe Unwavering Stance, on the fence about that one still until I've tried without).
Instead I get more buff effect and mana reservation nodes which in turn buffs up Vitality at level 20 by about 0.5 extra regen and Purity by another 1% max.
By also grabbing Endurance charges we increase the uptime, life regen while using charges and physical damage reduction goes from 12% with 3 charges up to 28%(32%) with 7(8) charges up.

Gear wise I will most likely run almost the same.
I am not wealthy or lucky enough to own a 6l Carcass at this point and will spend my currency on just a 5l.
I will be running Alpha's Howl as soon as I can afford it because I will aim for Astramentis first for coping with all attributes, I can probably buy one but not both.
I might skip Le Heup since I feel another ring could help me with resistances/life there, especially since Alpha's Howl gives a lot less overall resistances.
The rest I've got or are a bit cheaper to get.

I have got a Q15 Increased Lightning leveling with me for using with a 6l and Three Dragons later down the line, which still feels like a solid deal.

All in all, I was always thinking about doing a RF build but never really thought about using Flame Surge and Doon until I stumbled upon this thread. Will give an update when I start trying Atziri some time this week.
