How did you find out about PoE?

I found out about PoE through IGN. I actually have seen it before through random google search, but didn't really read into it and I had a lot of things on my mind at that time.... then I saw IGN's article a few months ago and got interested in the skill system. Once I watched the videos, I knew I found my new addiction.

While I was looking for some good ARPGs (which, as we all know, are almost non-existent) I stumbled upon some topic in a god forsaken forum, where some guy mentioned the game as one of the best games that are soon to come out (when the CB was expected in early 2011). So I googled it and checked the forums and the first gameplay clip, where Chris explained the basics of the game. Since then (mid January) I patiently lurk on the forums, trying to learn as much as I can and to check for beta invites as frequently as possible. Hope that I'll test it soon. :P

I was looking for a hack and slash game and someone one gaming.SE suggested PoE. I watched the skill gem trailer and was hooked.

^ same forum, but there's a PoE thread, too. Watched the trailers, and I like the art (very D2esque). I've been looking for a similar game for a long time and playing LoD online is just not fun anymore because everyone just bots to get the best equip.
