Haku mission with falling rocks
|
Dont use movement skills or you drop the spirit. That triggers the falling rocks.

For that reason I always make sure the area is fully cleared before I get the spirit.
Another quality ZAP! post.

" ^^ This is completely correct. Fight your way in grab the spirit and run to zone out dont fight and dont use movement crap of any kind whatsoever just dont stop and dont fight. Ive did quite a few of these missions already and not a single one did i run into this falling rock stuff. I just grab the spirit and run out no fighting no movement stuff to make me faster. |

Thanks all, but i just found out some things. Last night i got Haku quest and then the falling rocks happened in that dungeon in the Mudflats. But while doing the other two quest in the Mudflats i did not find Haku in the Mudflats, and the quest from last night was gone. And personally i like that.
if some thing like with those falling rocks happens and you do not get through there like me, then simply forget that quest and once you exit the game and log back in the next day or so it will be gone. :) At least it was gone when i played a bit this afternoon. I met Haku while going for the way point on the Ledge, and during that quest i did not get those falling rocks. :) ( So they are random indeed. ) |

I died to them last night in cruel. Not going to be doing Haku quests I don't think. I had gotten a key item for my build through pure luck, so it really pissed me off to die to rocks.

Quartz flask. I'll just leave that here.

Quartz flask of adrenaline :D
and ye, my method is the same as above: clear cave, memorize layout and chokepoints grab spirit, pop quicksilver at first chokepoint pop Quartz flask - never look back - that way I easily outpaced the rocks and when I exit the cave they are nowhere near my position. If there is a bug of some kind I did not encounter it, never did it happen as in the gif that rocks were already falling when entering the cave. I am not sure how I managed to chicken out of this "rock-instadeath on evasion builds-thing", but I'm sure as hell not setting my foot into this quest ever again.

I'm in Beyond and I'm never doing another Haku quest again. I did one early on where I had to escort a spirit from the zone in to the end, with constant burning ground and resurrecting mobs. Thankfully I survived it with high fire resist but it was still risky, and it wasn't falling rocks.
Haku in HC is just trying to get you killed. Don't let him fool you. He doesn't want your help, he wants your death. Ignore him. |

Haku missions have timers and are too risk to do.
I prefer to not risk in some cases because they are very short and have a high possibility of your char to be killed. In merciless they are almost suicide! |
