I don't think that Diablo III will crush Path of Exile. Path of Exile is at least as good as Diablo III and other than Path of Exile I don't see a single reason to play more than one character of a class in Diablo III.

Since I am also in the Diablo III Beta I can say that Diablo III is really good, but I think Path of Exile has more longterm motivation the way both games are at the moment.

Since both games were already really good in beta I know for sure that I will play both of them, but I guess that I will spend more time in Path of Exile.

Before judging the games, maybe you should give them a try.

Oh, before I forget. I think it will still take a while till Diablo III will launch since they promised to tell the release date at least two month in advance. No release date yet, so it won't go live before march. At least that's what I would bet on.
