I am 21 and I spotted POE on Torchlight2 forums. Looked it up and ran through YouTube. Got hooked. As simple as that.
Forgive me this had already been brought up but:
"Skill gems can be removed from sockets by right clicking on them. There is currently no penalty for doing this. We want players to experiment with the nearly infinite combinations our skill system allows."

At some point one's current equipment will have to be upgraded, requiring the gems to be re-fitted. This got me thinking that if they eventually plan to introduce "penalties", what would they be like...
>Losing a level or two depending on how upgrade the gem is int he first place.
>Or maybe some factor like "durability", that gives you an upper ceiling for the number of times you can un-socket gems. That would require "polishing" by some NPC.
>Random chance of breaking!? Micro-transaction to repair gem?

Oh, and speaking of gem experience gain, will it be character attribute dependent. Say, a dexterity char may have his green gems gaining 1.2x exp than other gems.
Has there been any speculations on this?

All this talk about "keys" is reminding me of Zelda...

Years of Zelda gaming has had me weirdly tuned to the word "keys"...
