i really like that idea! was playing a tanky closecombat-build in HC myself until i got instagibbed by vaal.

and no, melee (and especially tank - well, you really need to be tanky if you are a "real" melee, not using LS or GS) is not garbage. its a different kind of playstyle. much more challenging and not to be used if you want to go the easy-peasy-cheesy way.
