How is my build? 1h mace/shield templar

I know these threads are very annoying, but please bear with me, i'm a scrub. please check out my build and feel free to criticize as long as its useful advice!

im going for the mace nodes next, and i plan to grab every one i can get to. i also plan grabbing some intel nodes and building some resistances.

Can i also get some quick explanations on why and what kind of charges i should be getting, and if i even should be going for power/frenzy/endurance charges. (i barely even know what they do)
