Critical Strike chance calculation

Trying to check if I grabbed enough crit chance in the 1.2 tree vs the 1.1 tree.
 Stat from tree + gear Main hand and off hand daggers. I thought my main hand critical strike chance would be 9.23 * ( 1 + (40 + 263 + 236)/100)) = 9.23 * 6.39 = 58.9797% That turned out to be wrong since this is what I get in game  What am I missing? |

It looks like the 40% from daggers are not considered in calculation. But even then it's a bit off. Weird.

If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch. Watching witches watch watches is not for the faint of heart... |

Well, the tree only uses multiples of 5, so neither value you've used is actually what you get from the tree. I also have no clue which of the fifteen different Increased Crit Chance values in that list is supposed to represent the tree, either.
I count 80+80+50+26 = 236% from gear + 245% from tree, for a total of 481%, which would net you 53.6263% Crit Chance with your mainhand. To get 55.5%, you'd need a total of 502% Crit Chance, or an additional 21%. That sounds like a missing Diamond Ring to me. Last edited by Vipermagi#0984 on Aug 19, 2014, 9:54:28 PM

I have that in my inventory as well. Looks like the offline planner is adding the crit % from that and the local crit on the mainhand dagger as well. Both are incorrect but that accounts for the 58% difference. |
