Skill Tree Reset; And Bandit Reward Quests ?

About the passive treeupdates, once it happens, your skill points will reset. But will you get to reset the bandit rewards? I know about the vendor recipe of 20 regrets and all.. but that seems way too pricey. If GGG is gonna nerf builds shouldn't they at least let us change those..? Is there a reason why they won't let you? Unless there in fact is a way and I'm just missing it(please tell me how if there is). I didn't find any way last time I respeced..

Good idea, just done it. It really surprises me on how I've never seen anyone seem to mind this other than me

I've mentioned this several times. Resetting the tree but not bandits is another half-baked implementation from GGG. Sometimes they mess up the tree so badly, you need to completely change your build. Sometimes you just want to try something different with your hard earned high lvl char.

20 regrets per bandit is way to pricey already if it were your fault. But since it's not your fault it's way way way too pricey...

GGG has commented on this. The idea is that you're remaking the same build but get a free respec since it's pretty much mandatory with changes. GGG are still all for permanent choices but are forced to do these free respecs. It of course gives you the option of making an entirely new build.

They did introduce the recipe for anyone who really does want to change their build. It's no different than using regrets to change passives.

listen to your self.
They are the ones changing the build...
If my build become fucked based on their change then i want to reset the quest and maybe chose different rewards.

and it's not hard to implement just give the option to reset the quest for free.
Up until relatively recently, there was no way at all to reset the bandit rewards. Now they have at least added a way to do so, but it's pretty expensive and probably not worth it at all for most people unless you are already fairly high level.

Since they have added that option though, we know the code to reset it exists. It shouldn't be that hard to modify it to also allow a free reset along with the passive tree respecs. And with changes this big, I think it would only be fair to do so.

That is a good point, however, I still do not believe it to be reasonable. Sure, I could keep the same build, but the current build could be nerfed to the extent of it being completely ineffective, in which you are forced to change everything. If that's not the case, then that's great, but I almost guarantee most builds would like to have at least one of the rewards changed, and with the price of regret orbs being almost twice of chaos orbs, I myself and sure others as well simply cannot afford that

With the changes to life maybe a 4% life node will be more valuable than 40 life from oak, which would mean every life based character will have to do a bandit respecc

I completely agree. There could be very unfortunate players like Alea who have multiple characters to respec, meaning many regrets.
There's going to be a line of angry customers in front of the Oak ...

Also, for the life builds this shit's going to cost 1c...
. I hate it when they change big parts of the game without really covering all the side-effects of these changes.
