I know what you mean, I can open up Baldurs gate now and play it just like it was 15 years ago, then i can add the expansions and play it with them. On the other hand, those kinds of games rarerly did get many content updates to begin with sadly, unless modding was enabled (Vampire: The Masquerade anyone?)
