I've always been into Tom Clancy sort of novels but recently I've fallen in love with sci fi and fantasy.
Without further ado I would have to say some good page turners are, Game Of Thrones Series - These books are ridiculous, lets cross our fingers George doesn't kick the bucket before he finishes it. Wheel Of Time Series - Damn these books are just pure sex. If your into huge immersive fantasy , this is for you. I'm on Crown of Swords and the books are epic on a huge scale. Although I haven't read the most recent books that were written by another author because the original croaked. - I must admit I have not heard good things but I'll be my own judge when I get that far. Dune - Awesome books, first one is the best by far. ....._______

Anything by Terry Pratchett makes me smile from ear to ear. primarily his Discworld books and more to the point the stories on the witches i could (and have) read multiple times without getting bored.
I'm also a fan of Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park. As it usually goes the book is much better than the movie. |

I recently found some books by Robert A. Heinlein, called Double Star, Orphans of the sky and Stranger in a strange land. Some other authors i love is Philip K. Dick, Isaac Asimov and Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
Tried to find more of Heinlein in bookstores in my area, but with no success. Anyone by chance know of a good site i could order a some books? |

Everything by Piers Anthony but my all time favorite of his was the first one i ever read in his Xanthar series which was Ogre,Ogre
read a lot of Anne Rice in the past gotta love that Lestat or at least gotta love the first few novels in that series before she goes all crazy and is telling off her fans in the same book she has vampires and "tall ones". also really enjoyed the Ramses series she wrote for a short bit. I have a horrible time remembering authors names but in general i love the fantasy and darker novels above most other types. |

I just read Cuts by Richard Laymon. Brutal and sexy story about a group of friends and acquaintances and a 17 year old cereal killer. This guy leaves almost nothing to the imagination which made me feel kinda awkward reading it on the bus. I hear that his book Savage is his best, I believe its about Jack the Ripper.
Right now I'm reading through Thomas Pynchon's Inherent Vice. Set in 60's Los Angeles, it follows a constantly stoned PI as he stumbles his way through a kidnapping. Lots of ins and outs and it feels almost hallucinogenic. |

The perks of being a wallflower - a great angst-ridden novel by Stephen Chbosky.
Everybody's wearing fingerless gloves.

None Warhammer books? REALLY?
Seriously now...there are a lot of good books(good is in the eyes of the beholder mind you). I love any book that is action oriented and/or black White mentality one(Warhammer books, Conan, books from the period of Romanticism{PoE et al}...). I love LoTR too(have almost every book including the last one:"Narn i hin Hurin{otherwise known as:"Narn e Rach Morgoth"}). Warhammer fans may question me now but I just don't dig Dan Abnett(his Ravenor series is boring-are all his novels so realistic?). 1984 by Orson Welles(The Animal Farm is inferior but still better than most books) is awesome book. When we're at it..."The Catcher in the Rye"(J.D.Salinger)-a Classic. I think that I've said about just right amount of books now. As is clearly visible I have an acquired taste when it comes to the subject of books. | |
All the Mr. Men books.
I would like a Beta key, because I am British and like Tea.
