Can PoE be played in less than 800x600 resolution?

If you can run this game and youtube at the same time, on the same screen... You have a nice laptop.
I thought my laptop was going to burst into flames once I hit act 3.

Can someone with useful information post? This thread was made to learn something, not to argue. There have been at least 4 different people to reply to this thread, but no one said anything helpful.

If you change your graphics settings in the ingame options menu to run in windowed mode you can resize the window to whatever size you like. Is that what you were after?

Thanks for an on-topic reply. There seems to be a limit at 800x600 resolution. The smallest setting in the options is 800x600. After activating windowed mode, I am not able to resize the client below 800x600. I tried editing the config file to 600x450, but before reaching the login screen after launch the window snaps to... you guessed it, 800x600. I am fairly sure the game is not meant to go in a smaller resolution than that, but I was wondering if there is another way to make the window smaller than this.

I assume this fix would be a third party app, but I mostly just hope someone knows something I don't.

I go out of my way to avoid forums for this reason. I suppose it shows, doesn't it? They can be a giant pain when trying to extract something useful like the answer to a question. Anyway, you make a good point. But I will call it defensive because I don't care as much as you might think. I am simply bored. Replying to trolls during such down times can be mildly interesting. And because I will make sure that my ideas are standing at the end of the day, not break down into tears.

I promise you, if you make a thread I will not show up throwing around mild insults, acting aloof, and such. I keep to myself. The only threads I have viewed and will view are ones I searched for to see if my question was already answered, or if they might contain an answer that interests me. I guarantee most of the things you have to say do not interest me. I prefer to defend my ideas from such people. I guess my expectations were too high.

Now, your reply.. Useful? Hmm. I think this is why some questions have an option for "I prefer not to answer" as opposed to just yes and know. If you want to place yourself in the same group as the useless 90% of the Internet, that you defined, I don't mind.

Before I go:
League of Legends General Discussion is complained about all the time, for example, but at least people aren't such douchebags. Daxiom takes the cake though. It takes a beast to go into a thread asking a question, ignore the question, ignore OP's ranting about useless replies, call everyone 10yr olds like he isn't used to arguing on the Internet, and peace out. I hope all 'silver supporters' aren't such upstanding individuals.
