Hall of Grandmasters Map clarification

I am sooooo hyped for this idea, it is going to be so much fun. And GGG said that they would make it a common unique map, so i may even be able to run this myself.

I just gotta find 300$ to upgrade :S
eager to play this unique map :)

Huh, that's kinda weird, actually. This is the first pack, I think, where how intensely you play will really determine whether you'll get this pack or not.

I mean, it sounds cool and all, and I'd love to get it. But, on the other hand, if all the other immortals are level 100 chars with 100ex worth of gear, I don't want to pay 500 bucks to become a laughing stock.

What they should do, I think, is break the submissions into 3 tiers, like casual, normal and extreme.

1) Casual submissions will include pretty easy submissions, which are no harder than current exiles, or easier. People who want joke submissions, or relatively easy submissions can go here. Players who don't make top-tier characters can choose to fight these for casual fun.
2) Normal will have good but non-top tier builds. This can be for players who want a bigger challenge or a rush.
3) Extreme could have all the BS top-tier million DPS builds, for yolo players.

Then, I'd be more willing to buy the pack (would be keen to get 2 actually, for a cute pair of twins). I'd be more confident that my character won't be stupidly out-classed.
Hehe, wondering if this Grandmaster Supporter pack could be called pay2win?

Your submitted char will be sure to kill some players :)

JK, but still.
considering how most of the top end players are using very fast attack builds, I would go max block/max spell block with tempest shield linked to added lightning + lightning pen...

what I'd like clarification is:

are the builds submitted going to be based on this current tree or the new passive tree after the update?

I don't know if you can submit characters already, but my guess is that the submittion process starts after 1.2. goes live. So they would have to be based on the new tree.

Got one word for this: EPIC!
Sure it will probably be impossible to beat, but still heaps of fun.
Funniest map as of now is Death and Taxes, too easy tho.
Now this map is gonna be a true challenge xD
But no, I have no illusion of ever beating it, but for me that's not the point.

Love theese unique maps <3

Edit:Seems ppl are taking this too serious, noone will be able to beat this map prolly, so what? If you don't see the fun in experimenting with it, leave it alone and stop crying.

Seriously, i can't how this is going to turn out well.

It's like pvp, except it's one (or six) versus (?) 25 of the best AT THE SAME TIME, in dunno how many waves of them. Without some kind of tune-down, how is anyone going stand a chance?

Then the whining will start (getting one-shotted offscreen, blah blah blah) then GGG will be pressured to "balance" the difficulty. Then the $500 donors will whine about being cheated, "not what i paid for", etc etc.

/e: i dont mean to be so negative, and i think the idea is awesome. But still... got to be realistic.
