Does Discharge work with Trap?

Bored and trying to consider new builds to play, but don't feel like getting on to test. :/

I don't see how it could work, traps don't have charges. In theory it would discharge, but it would do 0 damage.
I was hoping it would use your charges.

Unfortunately, it won't, remote skill entities like traps and totems use your stats, including charge bonuses, but they are still the origin of those skills, they use them, they leech with them to self, reflect to self, and spend own charges to fuel certain skills.
They can't have power and frenzy charges because it would stack with your charge bonuses, they can have endurance charges as they provide defensive stats which they don't take from you, but you can't give them both enduring cry and discharge, sadly.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

roll a Trap + Portal build, and try teleport piety to town. XD
Delete on death.
You might try using Conduit to pass charges?
I'm pretty sure Conduit just gives party members the effect of your charges. They can't expend shared charges for their skills like Discharge. I also think Conduit only works for party members, not totems/minions/traps.

Conduit grants Charges to Party members, and they function like any other Charges they would generate for themselves (ie. if you have %Regen per Endurance Charge, your allies to not get that through Conduit).

Traps, Mines, Totems and Minions are not Party members.
