Mirror of Kalandra / being rich ?!
I never knew , is it crafted , does it drop like other currencies and if it does , does it have a drop chance even in low lvl maps ? or only high lvls like 78 ? rich players in game got rich by a mirror drop ? how do people obtain 200ex and more ?!

It drops... but with about the same rarity as a Zod in D2. You will likely never see one drop. People play for 1000s of hours and never see one. In can drop in the lowest areas though. You don't need to be a certain level.
People get 200+exalts by selling stuff for 1 or 2. over and over. Occasionally they find someone who will sell them something for 1 that they can sell for 2, or even better. Once you have enough wealth doing that, you can move up to items worth 10 that you can buy for four or five. Trading geometric. You make more once you have more. Playing for drops is less so. You don't get better drops because you got better drops... much. You can kill faster in areas that other players might not be able to reach. But it's not nearly as strong an effect on growth as having resources to trade with. Last edited by Shagsbeard#3964 on Aug 1, 2014, 9:31:07 AM

read karl marx about the choosen few who somehow have the means to craft goods and masses of workers having less cause they have work for the few so they get even richer.
about mirror: it's so rare that it hardly works as a incentive to play for. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill! Last edited by vio#1992 on Aug 1, 2014, 9:29:03 AM

I've prob played 4500-5k+ hours and still haven't seen a mirror drop. You can make consistent currency doing various things and just playing smart / being aware of the economy.

If you want a mirror, dropping is the last way you're gunna get it.

I've never heard from anyone about getting a mirror to drop for them. Yet standard is flooded with mirrored items. Can't explain this shit.
Another quality ZAP! post.

" You see mirrored items because the only items worth using a mirror on are also the items worth showing off. If you only look at the items that people are showing off, a greater fraction of them will be mirrored. Nyah! I explained it! |

I've had a mirror drop for someone else in a party, but never for me. Was a funny experience that was.

" it's called botting. that's why mirrors are doubly ridiculous. 1 they don't need to exist- there's no reason why copies of the best item in the game should exist. 2 they encourage botting and RMT. I mean really, really encourage it. it's the most "WTF was GGG thinking ?!!!" thing in this game. |
