It's not an open fan exactly.

You drag your item in a dialog, check what the vendor will return and then click accept.

The fan doesn't have a button to accept finger loss.

Besides an open fan is pretty dangerous when accidents happen and somebody touches it by accident. You don't initiate trade by accident.

not exactly, i don't drag manually, i ctrl items fast, because get 1 magic/rare trash every 5-8 seconds with iiq 25% and iir 300% and sell them for alt shards like with reflex, just that time 2 ex worth item was mixed with trash loot

really don't understand what's the problem to restore items, i worked support on mmo game and whole process for 1 item took not more then 15 seconds (13 of them search by provided name and 2 for press 1 button), such requests was really rare, like 1-5 per day

Especially when you CTRL>click items in trade you should be check if it's the right item before clicking Accept :D
And you pick up those items yourself, don't you?

But maybe the new vendors can let you buyback items?

The problem - you can make expensive mistake and nothing stop you or help after.

The reason of making this suggestion my own expensive mistake - http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/985638/page/1/#p8357346

Solutions are simple and cheap:

1. make UI options (for disabling and enabling) to restrict or show warning message when user tries sell unique item (like when you try throw out an item)

2. every item ingame have serial number, make UI (for disabling and enabling) to let user mark items as "not to sell" by remembering serial numbers in client and add check to vendors (client side) to prevent selling such items

Harder one:

1. buyback (server side) to remember last N sold items

These solution doesn't make any disbalance, so they can be sold as service.

someone in your other thread told you that GGG already said they would like to implement buy-back but didnt get around to it yet as it's somewhat lower in priority on they're todo list. and you felt like starting yet another thread about it. not sure what more you are expecting to accomplish here

priority of anything grow when many people ask about it, maybe there is many more people then i expect, but they don't talk about it

another one - maybe GGG waste 30 seconds and restore it xD

And maybe you waste 2 seconds checking the items you clicked into the window before you hit the sell button. You seem to be blaming your mistake on them because they didn't make the process idiot proof. You were being careless because it's faster than being careful.

lel it's sounds like your bot sold some good stuf huh? ;)

So long uniques as a whole have its own category or identifier, this would take 5 - 10 minutes to code and test (without UI option, just a warn message like when selling item with gems in slot, UI option would need graphical interface which is a pain to do), if checking is set to client side only, won't use server resources. Not really an issue to me, but nothing against it as well.

I dont have ex or uniques that would sell for em and now go play the game maybe that unique you vendored will drop. or find enough orbs to trade for one, either way, this is not GGGs fault but your own because you prematurely clicked the accept button.
