Sidewalk Slammer: get a watermelon Fourloko and a 40oz Old English. Drink 40oz down just past the top of the label then add the Fourloko. If you finish it you will know how it earned its name.

In my experience, getting drunk fast and drinking something that tastes good are in opposition. Not mutually exclusive, but certainly approaching that.
But, for me, vodka was always something that went down very easy. Nearly the same as another post, but I would throw it in orange juice. The thickness of the orange juice helps as well, not just the strong taste. You can down the shit very easily. You could also throw some Captain Morgan's rum in a Coke-type soda. The "spiced" nature of it helps more than regular rum, especially compared clear rum. Or you could just do what I used to do and drink out of a bottle of Dewar's. Doesn't taste good but... yeah the tanked part is included. Happy I don't drink anymore. Never really enjoyed it. Current IGN: TheBearerOfLight

While I no longer imbibe, several years ago we experimented with trying to find a nice cool drink to enjoy in the summer evening.
I was quite fond of Triple Sec mixed with pink grapefruit cocktail juice. Reminded my of grapefruit with sugar on it when I was growing up in Florida. |

Don't listen to any of these posers. The only way to get to know what you like is to try a whole mess of different stuff. Your taste in alcohol will change over time. I remember drinking Southern Comfort repeatedly in my youth. Can't stand the stuff now. I did a few years of really high end scotch... $50+ a bottle stuff. Now I can't tell the difference between that and the cheap stuff.
Try different things.... in moderation. I really recommend trying scotch. It's really the only hard alcohol I've never felt like giving up. |
