Necromantic Aegis "Passive"

Hey,
I've been pondering this for a while. While using the Necromantic Aegis passive, will it stack the minion life, minion damage, and minion speed gems across all minions active at the time when imbedded into the shield? Or will those only work when linked with the actual summoning skill. If not, what real purpose does that passive hold? I'm not quite at that part of my tree yet, but still wondering if i should get it or not. | |

NA grants the item's modifiers to your Minions. Socketed gems are not part of item modifiers.
The 'real purpose' is of course to grant additional Armor, Evasion and/or ES, and a Chance to Block to your minions. You can also get them a metric crapton of Resistances on top of that, which will help a LOT against monsters with Elemental AoE, such as the hounds that leave patches of fire. |
