[humour] My attempt at a new POE UI.

I originally posted this reddit (thinking they would be more tolerable), but they removed it, so much for a fun loving POE community over there. :-|

So let's see if it lasts here (or move it to OT if required)... here is my new POE UI:




Allow me a moment to highlight the positive changes:

- the new globe models, Oprah and Beiber, will appeal to our female audience across all age demographics.

- Christ the Redeemer statue marks the halfway point on the XP bar to give POE that Brazilian flavour.

- Some carefully placed product placement will help fund future developments (see below).

- Most players are familiar with the Razor Footprints and we're pleased to announce that all players will come with these now. They're so cool.

- We've provided a "food station" for players to eat in game, because we know that you're not eating in RL whilst you grind for 20 hours to find a 6 socket that you can vendor for 6 jewellers then vendor for 1 fusing to hopefully allow you to roll a 6L on that "Coronal Leather" you've been working on.

- We've merged flasks into 1 single "Red Bull" flask as that is all you should need: It Gives You Wings!

- We've added road signs through out the game to help lost players and because all roads lead to Rome.

- We've added a RNG poker machine to help your with your rolls... tip: aim for that full house.

- We've addressed the clothing issues of the Witch class. Initially, we tested with a Burka, but that proved too controversial so we resorted to a nun outfit... this of course means Witches now can't form parties with Rangers.

- We've added some lore texts around Maramoa to provide some background on her tastes.

- We've added some lore to our homeless people in Wraeclast.

- Added a teaser for our new NPC coming out in Act 4... sure to be a hit in our push into China.

- Added a Koala, because they're cute. ;)

- We've also added some helpful labels to help those new players (reminder that your should all be over 16 yo as per our T&C agreement) to help the remember what is what.

- We've made our "STORE" easier to spot, with pop-up marketing booth girls and supported by tasteful billboard sponsors.

- Finally, in this teaser we tested out some new 3D effects we're working on, so we encourage you to pick up a 3D monitor and glasses.. perhaps an ACER to make the most out of POE (we're still optimising the FPS and are hopefull we can keep them above 10fps when using Bear Trap).

Seriously, this is just bit of fun at GGG's expense. I do love their efforts, they do mostly great work, so keep it up and keep listening to the community. :)

this graphic made me read "chris the redeemer", i had to slap my forehead to get back my original senses. pls don't do that again.

Nice, is that a drop bear in the top right corner? I think that should be a candidate for the hp / mp orbs, maybe a drop bear one side & a kiwi on the other.
