Trade Hate: Which one takes more skill?
" Ok, sfl wont fix the problems. Congratulations. As to this bullshit he should play a different game idea I really only have one thing left to say to that. Fuck off. You do not get to decide what game we should play, and the fact our ideas differ from the stated goals of the game is not a reason we 'should' be playing a different game. He should be playing wtfever game he enjoys. If he has suggestions for the game he enjoys, good for him. IGN

" I’m suggesting that they expand/improve a popular POE game mode and increase its frequency. Decent is popular for a reason and if it was expanded upon it should meet players desire for an alternate trade free/increase challenge game mode. Chundadragon makes an excellent point and I’m not really sure how to prevent the ‘prestige’ statements that already occur in HC vs SC. Maybe if the game modes were different enough a response to ‘tradecore’ would be dismissal because they are 2 different game modes. IGN: Wrathmar * Paulie * Client

" Yes, it does. You are not asking for mere "improvements" to the existing game. You are asking for an entirely different set of rules. |

" If you are insinuating that I don't know what it is, you're wrong. However, you are not talking about improving leagues. You are asking for a race mode to be altered and made into a league. Race modes have highly restricted rules because they are short-term, highly competitive modes. The goal behind them is very different than general leagues: they are mostly "for fun," but give prizes to drive competition. What you are asking for is like taking the mini-games from Fable and wanting those to become the main game. It's backwards. |

" No. That is not a reason to say we should be playing a different game. We might disagree with the creators on the best thing to do, but that has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with whether or not we should be playing this game. Honestly, before now most of what you have said has at least been reasonable but this is a total load of crap man. IGN

" 1. Mini games in a single player game =/= game modes in a MMO 2. You argument against expanding the “fun” game modes of POE is like WOW refusing to add battlegrounds because it distracted from the core fetch quest focus of the game. Refusing to add battlegrounds would have kept to their original vision but it would have missed a very large gaming demographic. I’m still curious if the SFL crowd would be happy with a long term Decent league? Would that satisfy your desire for POE sans trading? IGN: Wrathmar * Paulie * Client

" 1. This is not an MMO. 2. PvP wasn't a mini-game for WoW. It was more akin to the HC player base this game has. WoW had actual mini-games some of its quests/dailies, and they wisely did not base the entire game around those small bits of fun intended only as a distraction from the normal grind. 3. I doubt there is a way to satisfy the SFL crowd. |

" Leagues do have different sets of rules, that's the entire point. One league doesn't break the game and its certainly not a reason to rudely tell someone to go play a different game. Standard Forever

" A. Persistent online world. B. Sign on required to access your account. C. Multi-player focus. D. Large number of players. E. Gameplay balanced around Player to Player trades.
