Arctic armor for small hits CWDT + Immortal call for big hits?

What's up guys?

I am currently running arctic armor and it works great for smaller hits, I do however have problems with bigger hits. I have therefore decided to use cwdt + enduring cry + immortal call + increased duration.

I figure that since artic armor already will take care of the smaller hits it would make sense to level cwdt higher than the standard level 4 since I will only be needing it for the bigger hits.

What do you think guys?

Why do you think the "standardlevel" for CwDt is 4?

It clearly depends on your Needs and you are able to use more than one CwDt.
Youtube or what else is not the best source you can use at this game.

Well that was a little condescending, and I don't use youtube as a reference. Cwdt level 4 is often recommended in various builds and for good reason, that is why I took the liberty to call it "standard" but we can use another word if it annoys you.
My goal is, as I wrote above, to mitigate the bigger physical hits as AA already takes care of the smaller ones. I am not looking for a clear answer but simply what you guys think and prefer.

My reasoning is that since arctic armor already provides safety against smaller attacks, it wont be necessary to proc skills such as immortal call. Because of that it would be beneficial to have higher levels of the gems so that when heavy damage would occur IC would proc and as a benefit of higher levels it would last longer as well.

Basically the benefit would be that IC in this way can have a longer duration, compared to a low level setup.

But hey... I don't know :D
