Eternal Orbs - The problems they caused and how we can fix it
I really don't understand why people want eternals and mirrors removed.
The only currency that currently allow actual crafting are Eternal Orbs and Mirrors of Kalandra. All other currency is totally random and is actually gambling. One moment you can get a really good item with good rolls, or you could get an absolute shit item that's not even worth vendoring. Thus, the desire to remove eternals and mirrors is simply the desire to see really good items to be harder, if not impossible, to acquire. This makes the game harder to play for those who actually try to obtain the items they want. TL;DR: if you want eternals or mirrors removed, you simply wish ill on all of the players who actually play this game. |

" I have as many hours as just about anyone in this game. I've been playing since closed beta. So saying I wish "ill of the players who actually play this game" is just not true. The random aspect of this game is what makes it great. Eternal orbs remove chance and create guarantee. They also remove the fact that there will never be a better item(within reason) than what we have today. I believe in continuous improvement and having something else to strive for. Eternal orbs removed that. Now there is a definite end game for top gear and that's it. Never anything better. I disagree with that 100%. |

" Perhaps there are some 'facets' of the game you have not taken into account. Do you buy item/currency online from sites and farming bots? Also, I'd wager being friends with people in the right places can work wonders in your favor. When you're not lucky enough, make your own luck? ($$$) Or try becoming one of these streamers who get donations (lets not start on these "donations") It all boils down to playing the game for fun or not playing at all. I can sympathize to those who want a self found league, but then I play for fun :) "It is a cruel joke that man was born with more intent than Life." i agree with the idea for corruption, but...it is life's model for the things and we need only time and luck and/or skills to become better, richer etc

" I think you nailed it. I hope to god GGG considers your suggestion. The chance to Vaal +1% maximum resists on an amulet is less than 1/300.
