Worried about RMT

If you're insinuating that you have cheating players in your friend list and you're aware of it, I want to let you know you should report them as they are ruining the game for everybody including yourself.

Because you obviously didnt, I dont take you very seriously either and actually think you should be banned for supporting cheaters.

1. I'm saying outright that several people on my friendlist have purchased or sold orbs for real money. And i have.

2. Obviously did not do what, and what is it that i did not do that should get me banned?

i've personally reported, e-mailed support about botters/RMT'ers. you just get a nice note like "we'll look into it!" and nothing happens.

meanwhile: the bot is in library for 18 hours a day, never responds to PM's, and takes no breaks ever.

Haha Startkabels went bad.
I know two groups of sick botters (not chinese RMT shop dependent, freelancers). They are like guilds or some fuck like that. Know several guys there personally.

You can't even imagine wtf is going on in this game. You have no clue at all.

I intentionally destroyed items/currencies worth around 600-700$ on leaving, according to the real market, as I consider this shit just pixels. Was called a retard by one of them haha.

And no, I won't report a single one of them, as it's not their fault. Parasites inhabit a suitable and friendly environment, otherwise they are set to extinction. PoE provides all of it, with love.

2. I don't care about your responses. I've had confirmed reports as well.
3. I don't care about proving anything to you, as it's something that doesn't even need to be proven further. There is no way to solve stubborn refusal and ignorance that i know of.

I've already explained why reporting someone does basicaly nothing. The game is free, so theres no account to buy, if GGG bans an account, they can just make a new one, and no, the items lost will be minimal, as it is only logical that they would store their shit on a non-botting trade account, likely several.

I wasn't talking about 'optimized' or fair drop rates, I was talking about GGG allegedly almost halving drop rates at some point, which never happened. A little more reading comprehension pls.

Strong Boxes and various other aspects were implemented at random solely to increase the chances of a legitimate player of finding such things. Bots have problems dealing with randomly appearing spawns, that's the whole reason why they removed large chests in the first place. They also struggle heavily against Invaders and Exiles, along with Stronboxes. There's limited support on most public bots, however most botters write their own code though anyways.

If you haven't noticed, the currency drop since CB = > OB = > Release has dramatically dropped off of just killing mobs. They had to increase the drop rates in very creative ways rather than just a flat out increasing it across the board because of the economic impact it would have, mainly because botters put out a huge amount of currency anyways.

When you design your whole game around the economy and make it a multiplayer based environment, you have to worry about things such as bots. The problem is GGG is fighting a losing war, they'll never win. It's too much work to do so. The only way they can get rid of botters who cause heavy amounts of inflation is to basically do a total 180 and center design around gameplay, rather than economy. Economy right now is too important, thus you have tons of botters here, even more than in other games like WoW, Wildstar, and various other MMOs. Why? Because PoE is currently the most lucrative game to RMT and to bot in.

I will give Chris and GGG this much, for a small company to ban literally thousands upon thousands of botters per week (which they legitimately do, every day they ban hundreds of botters easily) is extremely impressive. However, it's still not enough when various botters run off of virtual machines and run 10+ instances of PoE and change their IP/MAC Addresses when they get banned.
