" I can eat shit for free if I want, doesn't t mean it taste good. Poe taste good btw, just saying you answer if an easy one. I have nothing about GGG price policy, but I think they would sell much more if all prices were 60% less than they are. on a self note, Also GGG already scammed me with the portal mtx not working in maps (ofc they never mentioned this fact when they sold them), so I am not buying any mtx anymore. That s just morally wrong. Forum pvp https://www.instagram.com/critterspencils/ Last edited by lolozori#1147 on Jul 3, 2014, 8:42:18 AM

" Did you appeal that scam? I am sure they'd give you a refund in points at least. |

" na, I think they deserved the money anyway because the game gave me a lot of happy hours. Just for that, I decided not to get back the money. I just find the idea to sell unfinished/bugged mxt kind of lame, and from now on I stopped buying them. Forum pvp

Yes, PoE MTX pricing is "funny".
That's why when I feel like supporting, I always end up buying stash tabs. Overpriced functionality > overpriced lipstick When night falls

They've studied this. They know what they're doing. If you can get 1/5 of the people to pay 10 times as much, do it. You're part of the 4/5 that thinks it's over priced. Nothing wrong with that.
These items are cosmetic. They're not the game. People paying for them are paying for the exclusivity that comes with paying too much for an item. They want that recognition, and they're willing to pay for it. There are cheaper alternatives, or you can simply go with base art. |

Just to share a contrasting opinion.
If MTXs was cheap and everybody could afford each and single MTX on the shop, I wouldn't be bothered to buy them. What is the point of buying MTX if a character can't stand out with them. No longer a forum dweller, please use PM for contact purposes.

" I may be a minority but I buy MTX mainly to have my character look cool for me. I rarely play in parties and my time in town is rather limited. I however enjoy having my exile look nifty while slaying them monsters. I can get where people are coming from. It's just that the moderately priced effects look that "shitty" compared to the premium stuff. I'd rather have low priced effects look "shitty" and moderately priced premium stuff. It's not like GGG would be making bad bank if somebody buys all the effects in the game for 250$. It's still 250$ for a game which is essentially free to play. I can also get the production value argument. People are just having a hard time to understand how these MTX can be higher in production value compared to full-fledged games warranting a higher amount of "fun/$". I would love for GGG to lessen the price on premium MTX they already made huge bank on, make it sale events like "MTX of the Month". This way they can compensate the production costs of the MTX and still offer something cool for the small pockets, considering their money spend a bit more critically. That said I love daily deals. <3 Last edited by Nightmare90#4217 on Jul 3, 2014, 9:33:01 AM

" I think the word "scam" is a bit harsh, but I have to agree that it seems a little dishonest to sell portal effects without clearly mentioning that they only work for leveling new characters. It wouldn't be hard to just add a small note saying that they don't work in maps. Last edited by MonstaMunch#6519 on Jul 3, 2014, 9:28:33 AM

" Really don't get what's so hard about fixing this. The asset's there. They've written code to link the asset to the normal portal. Map portals are a bit different, but linking an asset shouldn't be that hard. Wonder if it has something to do with the lack of a graphics programmer. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.
