Level 23 Purity + 1.99% Aura Effect Rounding Question!

Alright guys, so a lv23 purity aura gives +5% max resist. If you take all of the aura nodes, you get +99% aura effect (a.k.a. x1.99 multiplier). So:
5 x 1.99 = 9.95 Now I KNOW most buffs round down, and I've experienced a x.8 round DOWN to x (can't remember exactly what it was atm). But this is POINT 95! It's so close to 10; shouldn't it round UP to +10% max resist? Can anyone who have tried this confirm or deny? " How do you calculate 99% increased aura effect? There's only 78%. If you calculate aura effect and effect of buffs, there is a total of 102%. This would make it 10% max resist. |

" 110% if you count Alpha's Howl. ~.^ But Natharias is right, 10% would be max from Purity. Edit: To answer your question, EVERYTHING in PoE rounds DOWN. NO MATTER WHAT. It can be 1.9999repeated, it'll still round down to 1.0. Basically, PoE truncates. You need all aura nodes if you want the last max resist point. The last 3 points to reach the 100% threshold costs you 2 more passives. Its absolute intended that way.

yea it rounds down. you can also use matua tupuna shield which gives 10% increased uara effect on you to reach that 100+% if you dont want to waste a lot of points to get to that 1 mrauder aura node
