Easy fix to Vaal Skill Gems

Some Vaal Skills are already so different from their original skills that you consider different support gems for them. It would still be possible to specialize into the "Vaal use" instead of the regular. There's your build diversity.

OP is asking for gameplay different than 1-button win builds to be the normal case, doesn't see something bad there. Don't know if the current state of Vaal Gems would allow this system to replace the old, that would be for GGG to decide.

It's also a suggestion brought up in struggle for more socket places. I can see GGGs design decision to make socket places meaningful but some builds got more freedom on that side than others.

I'm in no disagreement that some vaal skills are terrible, I just think that balancing them as they are would be better than changing the entire system.

Been using vaal spark since... it was introduced. It's actually insane. The char that uses it is level 95.

I use Vaal gems as core part of build and love them. Vaal discipline is the heal potion I've longed for in my ES build. I think some vaal gems need some love though-specifically the ones that are useless without a 5l set of supports.

Perhaps make them effective as standalone and marginally improved by supports decreasing the necessity for all the support gems to make some of them viable like the aura gems. They are better with increased duration, aoe and empower but it's strong without too. I have a 20/20 vaal double strike. It is underwhelming by itself. Burning arrow is awesome because of the ability to spam it. Think of something like that for each gem?

I fully expect you release Mr. furious since I didn't fully agree with you so probably won't check back. Learn some people skills?

Vaal gems and useless? Are you out of your mind, dear sir?

Vaal spark instagibs Invaders, bosses, box mobs.
Vaal Skeletons is so good against Invaders or tough bosses.
Vaal Auras are being used very ofter, especially Haste and Grace.

People are using a lot of Vaal gems, I think you should do your research first before claiming such crap.
