are you able to sell it + 1x GCP to a vendor for a quality 20 level 1 gem? (Does it stay corrupted?)

" No, because that's still modifying the corrupted gem. Other recipes like a corrupted gem + iron ring will still get you a ruby ring. Or using corrupted items in the chaos recipe will still work. Sorry for not explaining it better. I just didn't want you to think that you couldn't use corrupted items at all in recipes. IGN: @AmbushedByDongers
