I have solved the Stash

It is actually the Luggage from Discworld.

It's the only valid explanation for how it travels with you from different acts.

In that case I think I'll stay away from it from now on. I don't want to be devoured.

Duh...the luggage doesn't eat it's owner, just anyone else it feels like consuming.

I think the discworld luggage would have had more than four stash tabs :)
