To be honest Invalesco's builds were never really that good. The CB lightning striker was good in that current meta, but it lacked a good skill (lightning strike is a pretty crappy).
i use a secret account because i am a politician that doesnt want the NSA to know i play poe.

" Well, what Inva was doing more of back in CB was trying to explore relatively underused or less vanilla builds - he had little interest in the strictly conventional/FoTM. He was also an even better player than theorycrafter in my view (not that I'm a great judge of either). |
|
" IDK about that man. Lightining strike is hard to build around, but it's not crappy. In fact it can be really insane, the speed and duration of shock stacks u can create with it is much better than most other skills , self cast spark mabey only skill that can be mesured against it , and it has WAY less control than a GMP lightning striker. I miss his forum presence immensely.
This guy helped me out with every question i had in my early PoE live, with very detailed information. As well as being pleasant and just a regular "good guy". I also have good memory's of him "critting" multiple threads with information based on pure math numbers that could not be ignored. He was one of the only guys to back me up in the old days that "physical damage" was, mathematically, the highest dps source in PoE (this was when everybody played elemental or GTFO). +1 for invalesco, one of the community members people should strive to equal. I thank you good sir, for all the wisdom you passed on to me and the manner in which you did it. Peace, -Boem- Last i remember him, was posting in the thread about the summoners abuse by HvR. Again being his righteous self and trying to uphold an outstanding community. Instead of people like HvR, that would do anything for the "win", even abuse the relationship between the dev's and the community. Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
