1) A payload Spell linked with IIQ/IIR.

2) Maybe it's a really squishy build because they stacked only MF Gear, and would be 1-shot by Dominus regardless?

3) I believe that the purpose is for Capture the Flag PvP matches, especially once they add the PvP Season Rewards and CTF Events, then people would be making actual CTF teams and builds. So a Support character with CoD and Shackles of the Wretched would be pretty nice..

Thanks. Had not seen the nuke build. And also forgot to keep pvp in mind when discussing uses for skill gems.

I actually use curse on hit on my summoner linked to arc and enfeeble/vulnerability.
A simple 3 link.
Just for convenience to send minions to a specific target and curse at the same time.
Also doubles as my method of choice for breaking urns and other stuff.

Yeah I am considering turning my failed lvl 67 marauder into a walking nuke...sounds like fun :D

As for curse one hit - I agree that it isn't the best trigger gem there is, but it can come in handy some times - like it was said above, arc (and every other chaining/forking/aoe skill) works nicely with curse on hit.
I'm even using it on my shadow linked to critical weakness and frenzy - i am only using frenzy to generate charges and having about 45% chance to cast a free curse is a nice addition.

If you didn't read the linked guide....

Use 5x these and see if you can't make a build.

Pop flasks, get 15 charges, kill yourself and cast discharge + portal + other spells.

Generally 1 shots bosses and stuff.
