Chance-able uniques

Just look at the list of all uniques on the wiki and everything except the Atziri ones can be chanced. The base item is whatever you see for the unique.

Well looking at the poe wiki on items some like advarius says gold ring item level 71, shavronnes wrapping doesn't say that, that's why I asked.

Pretty sure SotS can't be chanced. I tried with almost 50ex of chance/scours.

Not sure what the percentage is on getting a certain unique but i have chanced more than a 1000 imperial bows(i chance every bow that drops) and never got the unique.

Itemlevel of the base type is only relevant for finding the unique in a drop. You can potentially chance an andvarius from a gold ring you bought from Nessa in Act 1 Normal.


And the wiki DOES say that Shavronne's Wrapping's base type is an Occultist Vestment.

i guess its just worded different, one tells u exactly what it come from item level and all, the other is just occ vest.

I'd always had the impression that the items to go for chance-wise were the most valuable, not necessarily the most desirable. Chance a good Shavronne's, Soul Taker, or Kaom's and you can buy most anything you want, with plenty of change.

There's a page elsewhere on the subject, but I'm not sure how far the rules extend to providing a link to a non-wiki site.

Instead of chancing Items, you should consider chancing strongboxes.

I always trade 1 chance for like 3 rares this way or something else decent (quality gems/flasks, currency).

But you should be able kill Roque exiles if you do so, they happen to spawn a lot from the chests when i chance them.
