Would pets being able to sell items to vendor be p2w?
It wouldn't be pay2win is everyone got a simple baseline pet for free, like a packmule or something, that allowed EVERYONE to do this.
The other pets would simply change the visual look. Played a ton of TL2 but never thought about this feature in PoE, if implemented like this not only would it not be p2w, I feel like it would be an overall great addition to the game. IGN: Ghured

PoE values inventory space a lot more than other ARPGs. Making a choice of not picking all loot and leaving behind some rares is part of the design.
With that in mind nothing will be implemented to make looting easier. |

Get over this equivalence. P2W is a design philosophy. It's "how do we design a game to get people to pay us money to actually play through the game?" It's not "What could we sell players to make their game experience better?" |

If anything pets make the game more hardcore, you have to manage not one but two inventories. The pets inventory could be smaller than our main inventory with a return duration unless you TP back to town.

" Pet's that can be a mule should be seen the same as buying more stash space. The main problem that would prevent GGG from using this idea is that it's not new, TorchLight II has it. The prevailing "not invented here" is always a huge reason why a game dev won't implement a great idea. So we have PoE that is not "pay to win" but instead is "free to lose" for the many, many server/client and RNG near fatal flaws that it has. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
