What to do with duplicate gems?

I have a fair amount of low level skill gems that I keep dropping (e.g. Freezing Pulse, Reave, Dual Strike). Is there something I can do with them other than dumping them in storage? They are so easy to get that I doubt anyone would want to buy them from me, but maybe there is some way to put them to use?

You can get high iLvl Iron rings and make resist rings.

put 3 normal lvl1 Gem with lvl20 gem of the same name as recipe to vendor, and it adds 1% quality.

That would make it better than the GCP recipe for quality gems. Not going to happen.

Something like combining them in a vendor was also what I was wondering about.

ON TOPIC: As far as the gems go - I just collect 2 of every single gem - 4 of every support gem - 4 aura gems - and then I just destroy all the rest. Course I am self found and rarely deal with trading... also if there ever is a new recipe worthwhile to the gems I may find better use of them.

I use them for "scouring" onyx amulets.

As for the future recipe. Could be something like the vaal orb recipe.

Look for someone who is obviously trying to scam or sell something over priced, message them seeming as eager as possible.

Pretend you have a bad connection or have trouble communicating so they have a reason to be patient.

Offer them the 450 ex or whatever they want for their 130 dps sword and then slowly proceed to draw obscene images or words in the trade box with gems.

See how long they can hold out staring at a gem penis, record results.

My record is 17 minutes, he really thought his rathpith was worth 32 ex :( made my damn day though.

Edit: bonus points if you alt f4 mid trade and pretend you disconnected, see if they will waste time to try again.
