[Updated] external software to view POE monster models

As topic says. Is there a free to use software with which i could view 3D monster models? And in which files should i look? Thx

EDIT:

So file containing all the necessary data is "CONTENT.GGPK". Using "VisualGGPK" software i've exported files from "art/models/MONSTERS". Files inside are: .sm .smd .amd .ast - but only .smd seems to be 3D files. Tried software like "ABviewer 9" and other, but opening files gives an error. I am starting to think that GGG has developed their own custom tool to manage 3D models.

I might try downloading 3DS max trial version, but i want to be sure will it work at all before going deep into this.

Does this community have wise people who could share their thoughts besides casual gamers and mentally immature kids who just troll and throw poop at each other?

I would really apreciate helpful and smart responses.

EDIT#2: Some .smd files seem to be strangly small, like 40-50kb (and .sm files even smaller) lol, some high quality 2D art takes few MBs

UPDATE:

So, i've figured out that .smd files within "art/models/MONSTERS" contain mesh data. Model textures are in different subdirectory "art/textures/monsters". .smd files wasnt something what could be opened with 3DS Max, so I downloaded a plug-in which allows to import .smd files into that software. After exporting art assets from the game database and attempting to import it into 3DS Max using proper plug-ins i've got an error!

What a mess! :(
