I bet you are right, and I'd also bet that is a big reason we don't see them already. I hope we will see some in the future, but the difficulty in making them, but not have them look...crappy, might mean they will be a while in coming. :(

You'll notice how the wings are quite static, and designed to stay far away from the legs. The two are really nothing alike. If the tentacles swayed in relation to your character movement, I might say differently, but they look to just have animation loops that are detached from character movement. That won't work well with a cloak.

can always implement a minimal effect.
is not necessarily a cape that moves with the wind a minimum movement would be great visually.
I would pay for something like this

I want cloak + back attachment.

Please... cloak + wings = badass
