I died on Invasion and attempted Atziri on Standard. Here's the link!

Spoiler

First of all, this Atziri attempt was very sloppy and something I decided to do on-the-fly. I went into the fight prepared for failure and super surprised I even made it past the first fight! I am almost 100% certain that with proper flask management and actual fucks given, I could easily down Atziri. Each of the fights could have been a lot faster as well, and the second fight was a lot easier to focus which boss to kill first than I thought. Regardless, I hope you enjoyed the video and I'll upload a new video explaining the intricacies of gameplay during maps soon!

DISCLAIMER!!!
Spoiler
ALTHOUGH I AM PLAYING THIS IN A HARDCORE LEAGUE, I DON'T RECOMMEND DUAL-WIELDING VOID BATTERYS WHATSOEVER UNLESS YOU'RE PLAYING A SOFTCORE LEAGUE OR DON'T MIND DYING. WHILE THE DAMAGE IS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL, I WILL EVENTUALLY DIE DUE TO POOR DEFENSES. [RIP IN PEPS!] I'VE ALREADY REACHED MY GOAL OF LEVEL 100 IN THE INVASION LEAGUE AND JUST WANT TO DO INSANE DAMAGE. THIS BUILD STILL DOES PLENTY OF DAMAGE WITH A SHIELD (YOU WANT HIGH ES WITH SPELLCRIT + MANA/REGEN) BUT YOLO. THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT MY BUILD!

Also, to pull off this build successfully, your gear needs to be some of the best-of-the-best. Depending on what league you are playing in, it can get very expensive. I basically used all my wealth I attained from getting level 100 and sold my actual level 100 character to be able to afford this setup. A 6-Link is also absolutely mandatory, so no cutting corners boys.

LEVELING:
Spoiler

I decided to level a Shadow with Fire Traps in a Searing Touch, which works wonders. I originally made this build to go Firestorm Totems, which is a great build, however no one wants to group with someone who is covering up their entire screen with flaming balls of aids. I switched to CI and totems at level 75, which I would deem around 5 levels too early if you don't have insane gear already. Bought a Shavronne's at level 91 and switched to low-life. Feel free to level however you'd like, you're most likely going to have to respec a lot of points regardless.

CRUEL: Physical Damage (Save Oak)

WHY I USE WHAT I USE:
Spoiler

SHAVRONNE'S WRAPPINGS: I use Shavs because being on low-life and getting Pain Attunement boosts our damage multiplicativly. The whole idea of this build is to be an absolute Glass Cannon. While this build works just fine with CI, we are trying to push it to the limit.

2x VOID BATTERY: Equipping a second Void Battery lets us gain so much more damage and cast speed, it gets ridiculous. The extra Power Charge and Spell Damage Per Power Charge become much more damage than a high ES shield with 100%+ spell crit. Obviously, this comes at a cost of a ton of survivability by halving our Block Chance and taking a huge chunk of our ES away. Just sticking with the theme of a Glass Cannon.

MALIGARO'S: These give us insane damage, as well as Crit Multi, which is already hard to find after the great Crit Multi nerf to the tree, mods, and items. The Dexterity also allows us to level our Haste up just slightly. I've tried Void Bringers out, and while they are actually excellent gloves for so many reasons, it becomes difficult to cast totems as frequently, which lowers our effective DPS.

RARE BOOTS: Rainbowstrides are always nice, but we aren't using a shield and can't benefit from the Spell Block very much. If you're playing an ES based character, chances are you can beat out Rainbowstrides with a rare pair of boots that will give you higher ES, more (or more specific) resistances, and higher movement speed. My boots aren't the best at the moment, but I haven't seen any better come across the market since I made this character.

DORYANI'S INVITATION: I get asked why I use this belt more than anything about my character, and what this belt has to offer is much better than a perfect Rustic Sash could ever offer. Strength: We need this to make sure we can level up our gems like Added Fire to 20+. Physical Damage: Can be higher than the 24 max a Rustic will give you. Resists: We have only a few select pieces we can get resists, and this belt gives us 2 high resists. 1% Physical Leech: This is the main reason I use this belt. Instead of your character receiving the physical leech, your totems heal slightly, which makes for more survivable totems. Totem Life = DPS.

ATZIRI'S PROMISE: This flask gives us a TON of damage on top of the same reason we use Doryani's; we are able to get the totems' life nearly back to full when they crit. The massive leech combined with the 1% physical leech allowing the totems to survive for much longer results in more effective DPS. Low-life could also always use some more Chaos Resistance. I would never drop this flask.

LAVIANGA'S SPIRIT: This sticks with our "tanky totems" theme, as the more uptime we can have on our totems and the less OOM we are, the more DPS is output. If I am OOM (out of mana), I can just tap my Lavianga's and instantly cast 2 more totems. This is great for fights like the Courtyard bosses and maps with nasty mods where your totems are constantly being shot down.

BREAKDOWN:
Spoiler

I am a glass cannon. Period.

The Ice Spears do no damage, they are for gaining Power Charges which is the reason behind using the powerful Void Battery. Keeping these up is difficult, you must be on some high octane shit throughout the whole map; no AFKing.

I plan on testing the damage with a level 2 and/or level 3 Empower over 20/20 Added Fire to see just how much more (or less) damage it will be doing. These are close to impossible to find on Invasion at the moment, but hopefully I can at least bum one from somebody to do some testing to find out if it's worth attaining one myself.

I can usually 1-shot any white or blue mob with a crit, however I usually curse Critical Weakness against most blue packs still and every rare. Mana is already really tight with this build below level 90, and it's hard to get your crit chance above 50% without proper gear with Ethereal Knives' base crit chance; however, curse when you deem necessary and keep good mana management.

A huge weakness in my build is the lack of armor, evasion, block, and high ES pool. Why run this in a Hardcore league? Because as I've stated before, dying on this character doesn't mean much to me as I've already achieved level 100 in Invasion and I just want to destroy shit. I've been lucky to make it through 94 levels so far, and with careful play, I'm sure I could make it right back there. Big stretch, but this character is too much fun to respec.

How are you meeting strength requirements for gems (113) with 103 str including gear? Seems like you'd need a 30 str node not included in your tree.

Sold 1k ES Regalia and bought a Shavronne's Wrappings. Took just under 7,600 fusings in a scumbag lottery to 6-link it. Went low-life; changed gear, links, and most info!

Neat man and gz on breaking 90 with a new character. What race reward are you pushing for in Season 8? Regarding Ek totems, I played with Zallaris up until 97 in Hardcore and it was a blast being carried by his totems.
The chance to Vaal +1% maximum resists on an amulet is less than 1/300.
