How much flat Evasion do I need for 1% chance to evade?

Your percentage chance to evade is affected by both your evasion and your enemy's accuracy.

Sorry lol, but I didn't understand neither of the answers.
Let me put it in a different way: When I equip an items that has evasion rating, my "Chance to evade" on the character panel goes up by a few percentages. Is there no way for me to predict by how much that percentage will grow if I equip an items with 500 Evasion rating for example? |

Again, chance to evade is not absolute, it depends on your enemy's accuracy.
Just check your evasion chance in an act 1 area and then compare it to an act 3 area. It will be higher in act 1 although you're wearing exactly the same gear. Why? Because act 1 monsters have a lower level and thus lower accuracy. Last edited by PitzerMike#2276 on May 21, 2014, 6:59:49 AM

The chance to evade listed in your character tab is only against average evasion for a monster of your level. You should check wiki for additional information: http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Evasion

" It seemed as though you didn't even read my answer. But I'll bite cause it's a difficult concept. It's not just your evasion that affects your chance of being hit. Your enemy's level, your level, and the enemy's own accuracy affects it too. I will spare you the detailed equations. The chance to evade is a rough approximation. |
