what makes a valuable quiver?
For most other items, i kinda have an idea of what makes a decent X
but for quiver I'm totally lost. Like just now I found a quiver i thought was amazing. It has crit chance/ele weapon damage/crit mult/projectile speed. Go to look up something similar, and there were similar ones going for very little. Soooo... what makes a good quiver? are people ONLY wanting defensive quiver stats?? like... should I pretty much just look for a quiver with shield stats? I'm playing ambush btw that's the one i got. http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1000307 Last edited by Koldhearted#5573 on May 14, 2014, 9:19:50 AM

Do not confuse good X with expensive X. If the quiver is useful to you, by all means, use it.
For me, it's usually crit chance/multiplier, damage buffs, and maybe some additional accuracy. E.g. this (which I'm using with a lv77 char). No idea how much I would get for it, probably not much, but it works for me. The more you depend on forces outside yourself, the more you are dominated by them.

Quivers need all damage mods to be good. Wince they are basically an e tension of the bows damage. The problem is this is very rare since you can also have survivability mods on a quiver.

pretty good example. too bad it was crafted before the new bases came out. @op- that is a very nice quiver you have. "The Eye of Ra appears against you, His force is powerful against you. " Wow this quiver is amazing, I got the low-budget version of it: But yeah, expensive quivers have Crit/Critmulti, a lot of them have WED, Life is great flat ele for some builds. Quivers are dmg items... |

quivers are probably the most interesting items. they can roll lots of stuff and contrary to staves (that can roll mutually exclusive mods) all make sense
Spoiler
what makes them interesting that ALL have something interesting and something obvious missing (like crit/multi/wed but low life and no acc, or very good crit and life but no IAS etc etc) i think that quiver is one of the better 'itemized' pieces. what works perfectly for CoC build is MEH for burning arrow prolif build etc thats why one can buy a VERY good quiver (for him) for cheaps |

I'm using the first one cause it dropped first and got good defence stats :) Edit: usually i prefer damage stuff on my quiver. Last edited by loardpcm#1572 on May 14, 2014, 12:19:38 PM

These imo ar rather good. Usually you wanna aim at WED and flat emental damage for elemental bowers. Crit chance and multiplier for crit bowers. Physical bowers aim at attack speed and flat physical + defensive stats |

"Or fortunately, that depends of what you're looking for. You would have at most 38% crit mul if it had been crafted recently. @Op: your quiver is good. Ranger builds list: /917964 When two witches watch two watches, which witch watches which watch? If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch. Watching witches watch watches is not for the faint of heart... Last edited by Panini_aux_olives#1967 on May 14, 2014, 1:01:13 PM
