Bandit rewards
I'm using a Physical/Crit Bow Ranger, with Split arrow. I'll be doing the Bandits(Cruel) quest soon, but I can't decide on the reward.
I can choose between: 4% Attack Speed(Kraityn) 12% Physical Damage(Oak) 1 Passive Point(kill all three) (and the 4% cast speed... but...ye >_>) I was gonna kill all three, and get the passive point, but that 12% increase seems good. So, help me choose : D |

I soon will have to deal with this too...
12% physical definitely sounds great, as much as I love attack speed. Any veterans giving advice would be cool. |

Hey Guys. Will physical damage also increase the damage from my burning/lightning arrow too?

"Tenryuujin uses Veteran Bait.
... ... It's Super Effective! ... ... Veteran appears!" >_> |

I am doing the Bandit quest right now as well, and I think I settled on the 12% physical damage.
Lightning Arrow converts a portion of your physical damage so the spell benefits from this. In terms of 12% vs 1 skill point? If you consider them both as skill points, you'd be hard pressed to find a passive for 1 point that provides more than 12% increased damage. Just my 2 cents. |

What do you guys think are the best rewards for my Build ?
i already killed all three and i am in Merciless HC but i think that wasnt really smart if i look at my lack of DMG. Going to create a new Char when i am done with the current. Last edited by AintNobodyGotTimeForDat#2831 on Feb 1, 2013, 10:59:37 PM

If you are starved for skill points I would not take it. If you can live with not progressing your tree with one more point, then 12% has pretty good value, relative to bow notables.
Certain builds need every skill point they can get to progress to keystones and other areas of the tree (I know mine does, I'm all the way up in the Templar area). If your priority is to deal physical damage, and you will reach your keystones at a reasonable level with points to spare, then I would take the damage. Other rewards, like a Frenzy point for a Frenzy build should be gotten all the time, though, because they're always more valuable than the alternatives. |
