Prismatic ring with 31% increased rarity

Just threw together a few spare two-stones for a prismatic, bumped it up to a blue, and got a nice little bonus of 31% increased rarity on finds. I have only been playing this game a few months, but in that time I've never found or rolled a ring that gave anything above the teens for item rarity - I've had a couple that doubled up the rarity, but even then the combination wasn't that high. Is 31% unusual, or can you even get into to 40's and 50's on these? Curious to see what other people have managed. The only other items I have with higher figures are certain uniques.

I think the highest you can get is 44%
24% form the Dragon's prefix and 20% from the Excavation suffix. This is off the top of my head...could be wrong. You could always check poemods.com to be sure. |

Perfect rolled ring can go up to 50% increased rarity. 24 from prefix and 26 from suffix.
Gold rings, with their implicit mods, can go up to 65% increased rarity. Example of a perfect one: IGN: Rosalind_

Interesting - gotta like that gold ring! As I mentioned before, the only other time I've had anything even close was a gold ring that did the same as the one you showed as an example, but then you'd expect that from an item designed for beefing up rarity.
Can't say I'm going to complain over the one I got. It will come in handy when hunting for loot. Curious jack89. Is that ring in your stash, or one you found for sale? Not that I can afford it, but I was wondering what something like that would be worth? Not cheap at all, I would imagine. |
