GGG really needs to work on advertising in the US college community. These kids have money, and are pretty free with it. I have 110 students this term and haven't found one that knew about PoE.

i dont know if there is an industrial standard how a games company has to work. i know a lot of developers that have just one game @ there portfolio. some of the browsergame studios, etc...

Sure, they could create titles like mario cart with spiders and rhoas. Even cardgames. (omg...)
But it would leave a bad taste on my mouth. Not again such a company, throwing out crap just because it sells. *If* it sells, ok, but there's a fine line between success and bankrupt and GGG is quite small in numbers.

Blizz fanboy? You realize that a lot of people here used to play Diablo 2, right? And that back when Diablo 2 was popular, EVERY game Blizzard was almost objectively the best game in the world at the time... Right? Starcraft and Brood War were bloody amazing. Diablo through LoD was amazing, with high points and low points (still better than anything else on the market at the time), all of the Warcrafts were amazing, and even World of Warcraft was probably the best MMO when it came out, even though I didn't like it much myself.
So don't just call people a Blizzard Fanboy as a negative thing when, until recently, they had a track record of being quite possibly the best PC gaming company in the world.

GGG could always make other smaller games, non arpg games perhaps, just something for us to spend a little money on and for people who might not be interested in POE could play those as well and if they like it donate.
I would totally play a card game with POE chars, i loved yugioh, would be fun.
