Change Regret Orb Cost for Bandits Quest
20 regrets is just way too much, really, for players who are rich its np, but that's over an exalts worth of currency (a lot to most people), for something that makes an interesting but not massive difference, to be fair to all players it should be 5 or 10 at most imo.

They like the idea of meaningful decisions in the game. As such, they want the bandit quest to cost a lot of money to reset. Sure, it's a lot of money... But that's why this game is about planning ahead and creating a build before seeing it come to fruition. Sure, it could cost less and would be more useful as such. At the same time, though, it's not likely to happen because of their idea of consequences for the decisions you make. It used to be permanent, after all.

I never even used regret orbs all that much let alone the free refund points so its a good thing the bandit respec costs a lot. Besides i always the the passive point, easier to keep track of what i took.

" You seem to have missed my point, being that it both is and isn't a lot of money, this being dependent on how rich you are, 5/10 regrets is still a lot of money to most players where as 20 is just ridiculous if you save every ex for a good item, however, 20 regret is nothing to a rich player, you already make meaningful decisions depending on what nodes on the tree you take, but for 20 regret you can respec 20 points on the tree, yet with bandits quest for 20 regret you can respec 1 point, thus the relative difficulty for players who realize a mistake but don't have big money to waste on one point despite how much they might like to. |

" The above text is the third paragraph of the Passive Skill Tree Obviously GGG wants players to make decisions. Those decisions have consequences. Sometimes we make mistakes. Edit: Alternatively, it only takes me about 8 hours of dedication to bring a character from scratch to finish all content. Keep in mind that I only have a few unique items, tons of gems from leveling a ton of trash characters, and no rare items preset in stash tabs to just throw on characters. So I don't understand why a bandit respec is so complained about. Remaking your character doesn't take that much effort, you can get a few extra gems, and you still have the same currency drop chance as you would farming for the Orbs of Regret. I wouldn't be surprised if you got at least 5 Orbs of Regret from 1-60. Last edited by Natharias#4684 on Apr 30, 2014, 10:27:44 AM

"Shame everytime passive tree changes or legacy items are introduced they don't follow that rule :) |

" Totally agreed. If you want a game without consequences play D3. PoE is about something called "Role Playing". Choices have consequences. VI |

" How does changing the passive skill tree have to deal with decisions? Oh, GGG has altered many things and they had to alter the passive skill tree. Because the core was changed, all players should be given an option to fully respecialize. |
