Crafting a nice Chest with High Energy Shield

Hello mates
I d like to know something before spending a lot :

When you want to craft a high ES armor from begining, the process is :
Use alteration on it until you have one good stat (increased ES or max ES) + another random one (res?)

then regal it until you have the 2nd High ES stat right?

It s not possible to have a Blue 800 ES Chest right ?

800 on a blue (2 stat) item is not possible. The method you describe is most common, it's what I use to craft mine. I save all good 3 stat chest in a separate tab, then once every couple months exalt them all and hope for 1-2 good outcomes. My current ones:

Wow, very nice chests on #'s 2 and 4! Good luck when you exalt them. I assume you just exalt, no eternals? Hopefully you get a combined mod and get more ES!

To OP. The first response is a good way to go about it.

I don't usually eternal (can't afford to most of the time) until I have 4-5 T1/T2 stats. I'm tempted to on #1/#2, but probably won't. I can usually recoup a fair amount from selling the chests I no longer want to craft after my 1st exalt phase, as most are 600+ ES at that point.

you should et/ex the first one

To me hitting top % es bracket was impossible with alterations, while top flat appeared once every stack or so.
After hitting top hybrid and cold res i threw a regal orb for fun and got T2 %es.



This is my current chest which i plan on crafting, the % es is not top but im not looking for the best roll anyway.

Things i am looking to roll are top flat, everything else is gravy :p

And id like to just say that i tried chaosing this before alt/aug regal and didn't get a single roll above 600 with 50 chaos orbs.

I crafted this bad boy using only chaos orbs -> I used 50 or so.


I know it's not perfect, but it's fantastic for the character that's using it.

That's my armor atm. Made it myself (dont laugh at corrupted, im addicted to gambling).

Im newb so i didn't even know about the alt method, and i got that in about 15 chaos rerolls


Ive thrown exalts worth of chaos at armors (again, to poor to do alt/regal/eternal method) and havent even come close to 900 yet. Closest ive gotetn was 700~ ES which i sold for 20 chaos after corrupting it xD

this is incorrect

blue items have one prefix and one suffix.
All ES increasing affixes are prefixes.
In order to have 800 es you need two ES increasing affixes

conclusion, blue can not have 800 ES
