Problems with Razor products

I have been playing POE for several years. I had been using an Extreme Gamer mouse with no problems. I recently installed a Razor Deathadder mouse, it works fine in the game, but soon after I log out of the game the mouse fails for use with IE, other open windows and the Desktop. Razor support basically was of no use, just ordered another companies mouse. Strangely I also installed a Razor Kraken headset, after using either a Turtle beach or Microsoft head set, both of worked great. With the Kraken my voice cannot be heard by other players, again I guess I will replace the Razor product with another brand.

That sounds like your mouse has some kind of driver utility making the button functions switch over when you use different programs. Try uninstalling all the Razer profiling mouse stuff and only leave the driver installed.

As for the headset, I don't really know, it's probably a hardware issue, but that could be software as well, try getting in to and fiddling with all the sound settings you can find. Testing those peripherals on a fresh computer might help to diagnose these problems.
