might as also make this a beta waiting thread, how is everyone. anyone in my boat in that I think this is the game Diablo 3 should have been?

Diablo 3 is this game's bitch, but that's just my opinion.
Ever vigilant, ever patient.

no I totaly agree, i don't understand why blizzard would make WoW into a top down dungeon crawler. the atmosphere of path of exile looks alot closer to the dungeon crawling I did back in diablo 2.

I plan to play a Templar, not sure if the trailer actually showed him hallucinating between the broken and dark dungeon flickering into the white and gold place...if that happens in game i'm going to jump out of my chair kupo T_T

Why does blizzard need to make a game with diablo 2's tone over and over again?
Are there a lot of games that keep the same tone over a 10+ year period? |

because the main draw of Diablo was its atmosphere. not purple hues and bright colors everywhere. it was realistic and dark/scary, you feared what may lie down the next dark corridor. now everything is well lit, and honestly if I wanted to play a colorful loot grind I'd play torchlight which does it better than Diablo 3...
that said I enjoy the atmosphere of path of exile. its dark, gritty, and realistic. which is what I wanted in a squeal to a game I loved. Last edited by arkskyheart#4065 on Sep 26, 2011, 5:00:13 PM
