Missing textures and flickering screen.
Today. I encountered some weird grfx glitches. At around 3pm (+8 GMT) today, my computer crashed while fighting Dominus. Which was weird, because I was playing for 3 hours straight before that. The crash happened while Dominus was tellung me how the world was an illusion. It also borked up the sounds. The HDD light wasn't steady as well. Leading up to the crash, i noticed some visual glitches. Textures were popping in and out of existence, I was getting tleported around, then when Dominus started transforming, CRASH.
Now, at around 1030 pm (+8 GMT), I experienced the same glitches, but now in a more manageable environment with minimal particle effects (blue coves map). The textures started popping in and out and sections of the floor disappeared. It went on like that for a bit, the. My screen went black, as if I minimized the game, then came back. I quit immediately after that, in fear of another crash. I consulted the Event Viewer and no errors had been logged. However, at the time of the visual glitches, I found 6 entries that seemed weird and pertains to a certain Desktop Window Manager. I'll post the text when i get back to my computer. Specs: Memory: 4GB Kingston Ram VC: Palit 9800GT Sonic Edition HDD: WDC Caviar Blue 320GB Proc: Arhlon x2 2600 MHz OS: Windows 7. Note that my co puter is old, but it's the first time this has happened in the four months I had PoE. Will update as I try it with Dota 2 to see if other games are affected. Seems like watching vids in VLC and YouTube arent affected. |

Turns out my video card is on its last legs. I blue screened while my dad was using the computer for Facebook. Now the video card can't be detected which is weird, since there's still a display, even if te monitor is connected to it. Off to the shops to see what we can do about it.

@ampdecay: better just make your own post to make it easier for you and the support team. The treat each topic here as its own ticket that needs fixing, so it'll be easier for you (and them) to track the progress.
