Crown of eyes price skyrocketed? [standard]

Just wondering, last time i checked they were selling for like 35 ex, 40-45 for a really good roll. Now i see people offering 70 ex and 6L voltaxics for them?

Did they become legacy or anything ?

Heck I paid 15ex for mine in Ambush a few weeks ago. (and it's a good roll)



If that kind of price differential keeps up it'd be a decent target for buying up a bunch before the end of ambush. (even accounting for the fact that an Ambush ex is quite a bit more valuable than a standard ex)

It's because standard is mainly populated by wealthy (read - RMT using) players, which are ready to pay more for stuff, but there are not enough "common" players to farm that stuff for them (most of those play Ambush). So, price rises.

It is. But ratio "RMT players:common player" is lower in Ambush, because there are much more common players there. There is just no point for most common players to stay in Starndard.

The easiest way to get a cheap CoE in Standard is without a doubt - paying 10ex for it in Invasion and then ripping it to Standard. (and the ex ratio isn't high in Invasion like it is in Ambush either)


Even if you aren't an Invasion player - minimal time investment to get 10ex and then done.

Heck even if you're an RMTer you could just buy 10 Invasion ex and then rip it over.

The invasion price is 5:1 for standard prices. It is also NOT a small time investment for 10 exalted in invasion... It's WEEK's.

I disagree completely. a) if they are RMT... well then it's a matter of about a minute.

b) if not RMT - you could just cross trade it from Ambush. The currency is easy to make in Ambush (poor people... CoE isn't aimed at poor people anyways so they're irrelevant. Once you're rich in Ambush it is wildly easy to become vastly richer - the Paths of Linking and Trading are very OP) and you can just trade it over for Invasion ex, then rip the Invasion CoE into Standard.

There's a ton of people looking to cross trade both ways in my experience - even just in guild people move stuff between Ambush and Invasion every day.
