Which Bandit did you let live?

I went for resistances, but figured there was a skillpoint to be had somewhere. I'll be grabbing the skillpoint this next run around.
Killed them all. In my opinion Bow duelists are so freaking tight on trains I cannot sacrifice a single point.
Killed all on normal, someone else did the math for me, 45 hp wasn't high enough.
Let Oak live on cruel because 12% physical damage seemed better than 4% atk speed, altho I didn't do the math.
Going for extra frenzy or endurance charge on merciless, still undecided.

For this point u could take Thick Skin (18% increased maximum Life), for example. Or Divine Toughness (18% increased maximum Life), or Discipline and Training (+30 to maximum Life,12% increased maximum Life), or Fitness (10% increased maximum Life,+20 to Strength), or Heart of the Gladiator (+30 to maximum Life,+20 to Strength)
It depends on build ye, but u just lost free point, which could give u a lot. 45hp at normal difficulty, u said? meh

That's not how a passive point works. Those passives are good enough that I'm already going to get them, or I'll be avoiding the trees entirely.

The point that matters is not where you spend it immediately, but literally the last point you ever spend in your build. What are you doing with *that* point.

Exactly. People only see the end result when they look at these skill points. That extra point will net you nothing unless at 110 points, you were 1 point shy from another 12% HP node, or something.

The only real time it would help you is if you have something right off your highway that your aformentioned build wasn't planning on having, like an endurance charge. Those are usually right off highways that people go, and generally do not pick up.

Just taking the point and thinking it gives you the best passives in the tree, passives you were already getting, is not logical or the right way of looking at it.

That extra point could be nothing more then 10 strength. You would need to map out your entire build, then see exactly where that extra point would get you before you said it was better then 45 life.

On topic, I help Oak in normal. 45 HP is just massive when most ppl end up getting 150% hp nodes. It is simply better by the math then a 8% hp node, even if that point got you an extra one.

I kill him in cruel, but 12% damage isn't bad either. If you plan on going more damage end game, its probably still better then a point. I play HC, so I take the point since I focus more on survival.

I helped oak in Merciless, because most melee have to use endurance charges, so might as well take an extra one. If you have to use them, its great. If you dont use them, take the point.
I helped Oak in normal because I am a Blood Bagic user and 45hp goes a LONG way with all my HP% passives, killed em all in Cruel and will go for frenzy when I get there in Merciless.
