Which Bandit did you let live?
I'm not sure yet what I'll do with the Bandits. I was thinking of either leaving Oak alive or killing all three. Though I think 45 hp will be a lot more useful than 1 skill point assuming I grab +hp% nodes.

Did Oak in all 3 playthroughs, HP, 12% damage and the 1 endurance change. Tough choice on the last one but those endo charges are nice. Running a DW life leech blood build.

Killed everybody in every difficult, for skill point u can get a lot more than 45 hp or 8% resists or 4% speed! Mb just meciless worth to help someone, for some builds.

" That depends more on the skill tree/build than anything. The 45 hp is a flat amount that gets amplified off of your skill tree. The extra point could potentially not net you anything worthwhile. |

The flat HP has been mathed out to be better than a passive if you'd use said passive point for HP. 8% is considered better for rangers/duelists because they don't have terribly good access to passive ele resist nodes compared to the other 4 classes.
The damage is debateable. But I tend to agree the skillpoint edges to being better than damage as you can choose to spend it on tank as well. The endo/frenzy charge is definitely better than a passive if* you use them since you'll likely take all the easy to get ones and you'd need to spend 4-5 points to reach another. I rely on frenzy for single target DPS so that's a no brainer. |

On normal Oak for the +max HP, on Cruelty I killed all of them, and on Merciless all will be executed as well. I'm a Blood magic elemental archer, if anyone is wondering.

For this point u could take Thick Skin (18% increased maximum Life), for example. Or Divine Toughness (18% increased maximum Life), or Discipline and Training (+30 to maximum Life,12% increased maximum Life), or Fitness (10% increased maximum Life,+20 to Strength), or Heart of the Gladiator (+30 to maximum Life,+20 to Strength)
It depends on build ye, but u just lost free point, which could give u a lot. 45hp at normal difficulty, u said? meh |

" Arguable whether Heart of the Gladiator is much better, I think it's about on par with that, actually. You miss the damage which you would receive for the additional 20 str, but it's barely noticable. Either way, you actually have to spec towards those nodes, they're not a given at all. So, pardon my french, it's fucking ridiculous to compare an out-of-the-way node to the flat bonus HP gained by helping Oak. |

I love the hp reward and would not even consider a skill point over it.
2 skill points and I may but just one? No way. |

" That's not how a passive point works. Those passives are good enough that I'm already going to get them, or I'll be avoiding the trees entirely. The point that matters is not where you spend it immediately, but literally the last point you ever spend in your build. What are you doing with *that* point. |
