Tabula rasa snapshot issues

Hi, I'm having issues getting the snapshot to work, I have watched videos and read guides, yet I still can't get it to work.

I'm currently:
-summoning my specters in scepter of god
-they are linked to all the gems in my tabula
-go back to town and put the scepter gem into the same slot on my other chest which has the same link id.

The chests are:

with the sceptre gem in the 4th slot

and this is the other chest, with the scepter gem in the 4th slot


any help would be appreciated, thanks!
